Who provides the service
On This Day is a trading name of Christchurch Web Solutions Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 10977032) with its registered office at Unit 6, 6 Silver Business Park, Airfield Way, Christchurch BH23 3TA.
Beta
On This Day is in beta. The product may change. Features may be added or removed. We will not break your journal in the process.
Your data is yours
You own the entries you write. We do not sell, share, or train on them. You may export your structured metadata at any time. End- to-end encrypted entries can be exported as ciphertext bundles bound to your recovery phrase.
Account dormancy
After twelve months of inactivity, you will receive an e-mail reminder. After a further period of inactivity, the account and its data are permanently purged. We will not surprise you.
Cancellation
You can cancel a paid subscription at any time. You keep access through the end of your current billing period. We do not pro- rate refunds.
Liability
The service is provided as-is, with reasonable efforts at uptime and security. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. Our liability is limited to the fees you have paid in the preceding twelve months.
Children
On This Day is intended for adults. You must be at least sixteen to hold an account.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful activity, to abuse our infrastructure, or to circumvent our security. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that do.
Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes
Material changes to these terms will be communicated by e-mail with at least thirty days’ notice. Continued use after that notice constitutes acceptance.
